Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has been confirmed as the title for the next Assassin’s Creed outing after box art for the game popped up online. Ubisoft has admitted the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood artwork is real which means we now know what the first multiplayer Assassin’s Creed holds in store…
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will star Ezio, the protagonist from Assassin’s Creed 2, but it looks like there’ll be a selection of new characters too. We’re been expecting the arrival of a third Assassin’s Creed game since January when the developers revealed a spin-off was the on the way.
The Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood box art refers to the new multiplayer mode: “Lead your brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy: Rome. And for the first time take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style.”
A sticker on the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood art promises an “exclusive multiplayer character” as a pre-order bonus. Speculation is already rife that it could be Altair from the original Assassin’s Creed.
Ubisoft registered an Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood web domain a few weeks back and the new game was teased with a cryptic message on the Assassin’s Creed Facebook page. Ubisoft promises more details next week.
